Tom Brady & The Double Standard

I feel I need to vent about the Tom Brady tantrum on live tv after the Monday night game.
The whole world saw and heard what Brady said to the referee going into the tunnel after Monday's controversial non-call to end a great football game.
What the whole world didn't see was Brady being called out for verbally abusing the ref. Noone saw that because IT DIDN'T HAPPEN!
I've heard MANY  tv  personalities say he was "understandably upset". Really? He wasn't being respectful in any way but people jump through hoops to excuse his tirade. Brady didn't even bother to find Cam Newton for the customary after-game handshake. Maybe he did it near the locker room but the damage was already done.
I tweeted immediately after hearing Brady's profanity laced tirade that if that were Cam doing that it would have been a bigger issue than the non-call to end the game.
I anxiously waited to hear the talking heads address the tirade but it was basically ignored. All they wanted to talk about the non-call. AMAZING!
When Brian Billick began to personally attacked Dez on live television a few weeks ago I immediately tweeted that NOONE NOT on the sideline KNEW what Dez was saying. How prophetic was that? When the Dez audio surfaced the talking heads just paid it lip service. AMAZING!
Brady curses at his rookie wide receivers and slams his helmet on national tv and he's called "fiery". Dez is trying to motivate his lethargic team and he's slandered by those same talking heads. AMAZING!
I read yesterday that "once the final whistle blows Brady and the ref are private citizens what Brady says is no one's business" Wow.....AMAZING!
People say that since Brady is a Championship winning QB he should get a pass for his tirades. Sorry but that isn't how it works.
Notice how people bend over backwards to make excuses for the biggest WHINER in the game today?
People even thought it was cute when Brady's wife trashed his receivers publicly. AMAZING!
Those same people judged Dez and countless other players without much information.
I'm used to Brady's demanding a flag several times EACH game but what I will ALWAYS have a problem with is how he is treated as compared to other players in the league.
The Double Standard is alive and well, and it is WRONG!
